Welcome to 2022

What a year 2021 has been . If you were wondering WTF was that about? Then you are in the same boat as many energy sensitive individuals.

Energetically things have changed dramatically over the last couple of years. In a way it’s an awakening for some and then also a slumber-party for many people. A lot of energy sensitive people (us included) have become a bit reclusive. This does not mean that we don’t enjoy interaction and connections, it’s more like, let me, just for a moment catch up with myself, clearing and processing all the very strange events from 2021. It’s important to listen to what you need - if you need space, then take it. Heal, recalibrate and get ready for this exciting new year.

2021 was a very important karmic year, not in the sense of repaying bad debt from the past or past lives but more a revisiting of old patterns to balance and release that which is no longer serving the growth and involution/evolution of the soul. It was a massive year for learning life lessons, learning how to navigate very strange energy and how to not run from problems or things that make us uncomfortable. The key words are triggered and activated. These triggers are there to show us what we allow in life and what still needs transforming.

Many energy sensitives have been battling with heavy thoughts and unbalanced emotions, almost like being possessed by feelings that can’t seem to be shifted. All of these energies are unfinished energy fields from the past, and sometimes just addressing them will shift it - exploring these patterns can create an opening for freedom.

If you are still stuck in this energy of fragmentation then quick drastic decisions are suggested to create openness and freedom. Transform, transmute and release what you don’t need anymore. It is actually a good idea to do some rituals and clearings to make sure this energy was completely released and that its not hovering somewhere in your aura and energy body.

A practical example is: if you get up in the morning and you feel pretty good and then suddenly you get overwhelmed by anxiety. This is just returning energy that needs to be transformed. What one can do is to address the anxiety almost as a person. I see you anxiety, I acknowledge you, but you don’t have permission to be in my life anymore. Practicing this technique with each and every emotion will start the process of clearing these patterns out of your energy field.

2022

The year of passion, love, enthusiasm, fun and connection. This year brings the energy of soul alignment to your passion.

A good idea will be to ask yourself :

What do I feel passionate about?

What do I love?

What do I want?

The second step is to actively pursue these energies to activate more of them into your life.

There is no lack in your life, there may just be a lack of alignment in your life.

Sometimes we have to create the alignment through our emotions and thoughts or physically placing ourselves into an environment where we can activate the qualities that we want to experience in life.

The shadow side of this year can bring some form of addiction if one has not cleared the stuff from 2021. Be careful of anything or anyone that binds you into a vibration of imprisonment. It is good to enjoy life with conscious awareness. Deliberately escaping life and the problems of life can create many problems this year. If we align our energy to the vibration of love and we vibrate at that frequency then we will attract more love and more loving experiences. It also brings be to the next point.

The year 2021 was very intense and because of the intensity we felt that we had to create strong boundaries to protect our vulnerabilities. These boundaries can solidify into dense energetic structure in one’s energy field that can also allow the flow of the universe not to reach us. Boundaries are good in the short term but energetic alignment and the ability to effectively transform that which is not working for one is a much safer alternative.

Quite often strong boundaries can make a person seem aloof or even cold. This year is about the warmth of the sacred heart chakra. And when one can’t find love for something or someone difficult, then channel it. Allow it to flow through you.

Mercury retrograde

We hate to be the bearer of bad news … but mercury retrograde is here and will be around for the next three weeks. Poor mercury retrograde gets such a bad rap as the bringer of “bad vibes”. As the planetary ruler of all things related to communication, travel and technology - expect the unexpected and don’t be surprised if things get a little weird is our philosophy. This mercurial energy can be balanced with heart centred fun. Do things that create joy, love and fun in your life and share this with others. Try not to get into deep conversations that can create miscommunication and confusion. Keep it light.

The year of the water tiger

The Chinese new year starts in the beginning of February but we are all already accessing it’s energy. The water tiger is a powerful symbolic energy of finding inner strength through vulnerability. What this means is that we can activate our inner “roar” through awareness and listening to our inner guidance. The water tiger brings energy, ambition, life force, intuition and drive. Our lesson is not to over-power but to empower. The tiger also seeks justice but more divine justice, a lot of stuff in the previous cycle has not exactly been fair or just. The water tiger will give the courage to rectify, align and heal the damage that was caused during the last year. The tiger brings enthusiasm and a happy vibe and we can all surely benefit from this energy.

Positive attributes: light, spiritual, strength, positivity, opportunity, enthusiasm, fast movement and transformation.

Negative attributes: spite, negativity, lies, overpowering.

Advice: transform negative emotions and listen to your intuition. Be playful and creative.
